One of the more bizarre slogans seen on license plates, for sure. What were these people thinking?
Perhaps because of its odd slogan, this plate was only issued from 1985 until 1987.

Well, they took a step forward in the slogan department, but a step backward in the graphics department, which is saying a lot. This plate was issued from 1987 until 1993.

This plate jumps out of the screen compared to the others, with a very colorful design. It was issued from 1993 until 1998. Too bad they replace their plates fairly often in Indiana.

This plate has the same basic design as the 1990 plate above, but doesn't benefit from stripes of blue at top and bottom. Good thing they replace their plates fairly often in Indiana.

A very plain plate, except for the cool number. An educated guess says this one is for trucks under 7,000 pounds.

Interesting type here, for a heavy wrecker of some sort.

This is Indiana's first optional plate, featuring a unique background color, a bald eagle, and nothing else. Thanks to Drew for sending this one along.

This top plate is the design (not a real plate) originally approved for the new baseplate as of January, 2003, incorporating the previous die type into the design. The bottom plate is the one that actually saw production, and is completely flat with a screened registration number. An excellent example of a very attractive design which was all but ruined by a technology that is probably being pitched to your state as you read this.
