MS Pub. Serv. Comm.
I've always been fond of white-on-red plates. The narrow Mississippi dies leave lots of blank space on low-quantity issues like this one, which is issued to for-hire carriers.
MS Green Trailer
This looked like a trailer plate to me, so I gave it a corresponding filename, but after further research, I learned it's a Bus plate. I like the slightly different format, with the smaller numbers at left - do they correspond to the bus size? - but it looks like it could use some kind of designation at the bottom.
MS 79
Looks like they could fit almost nine characters on this plate, doesn't it? It features a magnolia, which disappeared on this plate's replacement but made an eventual return...
MS 99
...roughly twenty years later.
MS 03
The magnolia stays on the 2003 Mississippi issue (though it's shrunk a bit), and those wavy blue lines at the bottom are supposed to conjure up the mighty Mississippi river. This plate is more attractive than some states' optional issues, in my opinion.
