pl8ster.net :: New Jersey license plates

This is the 1979-1992 baseplate, though I'm not sure when these plates were first issued. I kind of miss this color scheme, though there are still a few of these plates on the road.

Here's an interesting Maine junkyard find: apparently during production of the 1993 New Jersey plate, there was leftover blue aluminum from the previous baseplate that the state didn't want to go to waste. Solution? Apply the new Scotchlite right over it!
