I started collecting as many others have....parents moved to a different state, I kept the old plates to the family vehicles, and then started picking up random plates when I could. I found out about the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (known fondly as ALPCA) in 1994 during a trip to the library, figuring there must be other people with the plate-collecting 'affliction,' and the rest is history.

My main areas of interest are collecting #35 plates, various Maine issues, and interesting non-passenger plates. I just try to pick up interesting plates as my budget and/or trade stock dictates. I'm a pretty low-key collector and I like it that way. I try to keep my site updated on a semi-regular basis with additional plates, so stop by every so often.
