1/15/08 - Some plates forthcoming, but the big news is that my graphic design portfolio will be joining the site over the next few days.

10/25/07 - Added some Annual Special Permit plates to the District of Columbia page.

10/16/07 - For ten months, nothing...and then two days in a row of updates, including the absolute strangest plate type in my collection added to the Missouri page, a recent and scarce Maine type, and a couple of esoteric Tennessee and Virginia types.

10/15/07 - In fact, I have not forgotten about my website. I have just taken it upon myself to finally finish unifying the page headers under a single theme (a project began with enthusiasm in February, 2006). Now that I have that out of the way, there are plates to be scanned and uploaded, including a real gem from my want list, which has been slightly updated as a result.

12/24/06 - Merry Christmas! One update: an older bus plate for the Nevada page, along with the usual aesthetic updates that were long overdue. Speaking of 'long overdue,' I have a stack of non-passenger plates by the computer to scan and upload. I'll get to that in 2007.

11/23/06 - Happy Thanksgiving! Lots of updates: Maine Farm and Semi-Permanent Trailer plates, Florida old-style City and possibly a Trailer plate, Hawaii City and County of Honolulu, Virginia Bowler, two different Montana Apportioned plates, Alaska late 70s Commercial, South Dakota Commercial, New Jersey Commuter Van, and want list.

11/9/06 - A colorful truck plate for Georgia, a colorful and distinctive Veteran plate for Tennessee, and Finance Company and Collector plates for Wisconsin. Headers, thumbnails, more progress made. Also updated my want list.

10/20/06 - Added what I think is a Highway Department plate for Idaho, an interesting Fisheries issue for Newfoundland & Labrador, and School Bus and Construction Equipment plates for New Hampshire.

9/20/06 - Iowa goes Halloween, Louisiana adds another very colorful plate (with header/thumbnails) and Maine gets a fairly uncommon type.

8/23/06 - Iowa, Nova Scotia and Rhode Island are the latest for the 'new plate images/new header/thumbnails' treatment. And I was wrong - there was ONE LAST CAR that was unaccounted for on the old cars page.

7/12/06 - New plates for Massachusetts and New Hampshire, along with the corresponding thumbnail and header changes, and more plates for Texas, which also gains the new header. Progress.

7/10/06 - New plates on the Illinois and Mississippi pages, along with corresponding thumbnail conversions and header image changes. Slowly but surely. I should have a few more plates to add in the next few weeks.

3/2/06 - Added a couple more plates to the Maine page, converted to thumbnails, and bid adieu to some passenger plates, at least as far as the site is concerned. Also added info on the one remaining old car that was previously unaccounted for.

2/21/06 - Not sure what I think of the new 'watermark' on all the pages, but there it is. I managed to update the #35 and Florida pages, as well as my wanted plates list. Almost all of those Florida optionals are gone from my page, but the good news is that there are actual thumbnails on the #35 and Florida pages now. My commitment to 2001 technology is admirable.

2/20/06 - The new look - part of it, at least - has been added to the Arizona, Pennsylvania and South Carolina pages, along with new plates on each page. More plates have been scanned and will be added in the coming days as time permits.

2/1/06 - Three out of four, still not bad. Finally decided on a replacement for the cheesy 'chrome' look, and I think I'll stick with it for a while, so look for it to infest the rest of the site soon. Also, the 'est.' date has time-warped from 1999 to 1998, based on some files I found on an old computer. Before I got a domain name, I called my site "Bill Sproull's Riotous World of License Plates." Ugh.

1/30/06 - Two days of updates in a row! I went ahead and updated my old cars page, since it was almost two years out of date. I added some plate info to go along with the pictures as well.

1/29/06 - Copyright dates updated - many were from 2003! - and all pages' "Home" links should point to the 'main' page, not the index page that just shows the 'pl8ster.net' nameplate. Now I can start weeding out all the passenger plates and optional graphics on pages where there are sufficient non-passenger plates. And I'm not really digging the cheesy fake chrome text on the index and main pages...

1/17/06 - FINALLY! Still lots of tidying up to do, copyright dates to be changed, links to be fixed (and created!), but I got tired of reading about how I was GOING to change the look of the site and DID it.

12/15/05 - Still haven't made the visual changeover, obviously, though I have updated the Massachusetts, North Carolina and Ohio pages.

11/21/05 - Two new Vermont non-green, non-passenger issues. Still working on the site refreshing.

11/11/05 - Added a neat and fairly uncommon New Hampshire type, with more plates to be added. I'm also working on a new look for the site, the first such visual change in over four years, with the key objective being "clean."

11/7/05 - Finally, some updates! At long last, my 1969 run has been completed, and I have updated my want list to reflect some recent acquisitions.

11/5/05 - A new scanner and a new site host will now enable me to scan plates and upload them to the site, so some serious updates are on the way. No, seriously...I've already scanned about ten new plates.

3/30/05 - Plenty of plates to add, just need to find the time. This page could stand a new look, too...

11/27/04 - Added a couple more Arkansas non-passenger issues and converted that page to thumbnails as well. My march toward 2001 technology continues!
